Born in 1946, in the aftermath of the war, to find a serious alternative to leather, Méduse invented the first plastic sandal .

After the 30 Glorious Years and paid holidays, Méduse used its expertise in plastic shoes to invent women's ankle boots , men's rain boots , and children's rain boots . Shoes worn to protect yourself from the rain and jump in puddles, but also to express your style.

Our plastics are made in France, 100% recyclable, guaranteed phthalate-free, and meet the strictest chemical safety standards. We are committed to INNOSHOE, of which we are founding members, and co-created the first safety charter for our customers' shoes. This responsible commitment and ethics are applied to the manufacturing of nearly 500,000 pairs produced each year in our workshops.
Our women's shoes , men's shoes , and children's shoes are available in many sizes (large and small, from 18 to 48). The original product design is still available, but each season we invent new women's boots , men's boots , and children's boots while reinventing our range of SUN beach sandals .

French expertise and originality are also reflected in popular culture. The Big Lebowski (aka Jeff Bridges) forever wore our Méduse men's sandals in the eponymous film.
